Job Interviewers Are All Bullshits

I have been jobless for 2months..wait!..really?..let us calculate.. I ended my practical training at this cheapo company (i will story u guys later) at early in March. Today is the end of May which means--> almost 3months!!..wow i thought it has been about 5 or 6months. being an active guy having no jobs surely makes the clock ticks slower...
It is hard right now finding a job. I think i have mailed more than 50 applications either by emails or posts or direct to the company. I am actively targeting oil& gas industries. My degree is widely used in those areas...but then huh!..Companies in Malaysia are all bullshits. Fresh candidates is encouraged to apply. I went for an open interviews at Johor Bharu under Sapura Crest petroleum. The interview seemed like a screening.

Thousands of applicants were there. I was wasting my savings and hardships going to this interview. I waited from 9am - 2pm and.10 persons were asked to go in at one time..We were briefly explained bout the company and the process in selecting candidates. He told us fresh candidates like me are their priorities.

They have lost many workers who were experienced 5years above due to jumping companies. He also stressed that Sapura did not look at CGPA. They really believe graduates with high grades are nerds and are not aggressive since 24/7 reading books. Those achievers only excel in theories but very much incompetent in handling real-life jobs where aggressions and creativities are crucial. YEAH!! i quite agree on that but not on whole. I have been with individuals with good grades..they are all so lame! so 1-way oriented. They do not know how to act in real life situations where lies, birocracy, simple solutions, priorites managing are common. Sapura also said they have been practising methods where fresh candidates were put to tasks where when they have shown great achivements, the clients would then be informed that the engineers were actually had no experience and was solely on their own.

I am now still waiting for the call from Sapura. I followed up with other candidates with the same status as i am. Same thing...no news...I am now so dissapointed. So frustated.

My girlfriends had the similar scenario. She went to an open interview by SOny for the post of electrical engineer. 5 days later, Sony called for a 2nd interview. She was more pitiful than i was. She was there with other 20 candidates. SHe was asked to take 3 tests on maths, english and IQ tests. She scored high compared to others. No biggie !. I have known her to be a girl with excellence brain. Her mother took a 1 day leave solely to give her supports. Lastly, the interwievers praised her personalities and all. Easily said, she did the best in all greater than other candidates. She did not get the job. Ths only reason which is to me very ridiculous. She was rejected due to her being a fresh grad with NO EXPERIENCE. What the hell? Y did sony called her if they only wanted an experienced candidates? I got to know the interviewers were actually not related to the engineering department. They are from HR which is soo stupid and what do HR knows about engineering?. It shows that the company is not 100% commited in recruiting serious workers. Maybe they have other agendas in mind.

Dont get high hopes like i did. Do the best and questions them details o matter what. Y did u do that? y did u called me if u only interested in wasting my time? Y didnt u live up to ur promises? Be aggressive. People in this now-era are all becoming parasites and loves to manipulate people.

I do not know y i had to go thru these hardships while friensds easily secured a job. The only thing i see from these are the dark side of companies in serving the country. i will keep trying but i wont hope too much on it.
